Photo Walk: April Short Route 19.04.23
Join our Quantock Hills April Photo Walk Short Route, a flat, circular walk, from Bishops Lydeard Village Hall, to Ash Priors and back. If we time it right, we’ll even get to pass beside the West Somerset steam railway train!
We’ll stop at Daisy’s Tea Room and other amenities in Bishops Lydeard.
On our Quantock Hills Photo Walks it doesn’t matter if you don’t have a fancy camera or technical expertise, it’s about appreciating your surroundings and finding somewhere in nature that you can immerse yourself. The camera is a fantastic tool to encourage you to slow down and focus your attention, it’s a mindfulness exercise and can be a very relaxing process.
Our Short Route Photo Walk is for anyone who would like a dose of nature, but would like to spend a while enjoying each stage of the journey on foot. It’s a slow walk, so perhaps you need a little longer to frame and compose your shot, or you need plenty of time to walk the route. We’ll all walk with each other at a relaxed pace, slowing down and observing our surroundings.
This Short Route is a 6km (3.5 mile) walk and has very flat terrain which includes around only 38m elevation across the day.
Start time:
9.30am (we want to see the steam train!)
