Introduction to Dormice Sat 11th March 2023


Join the QLPS and Quantocks Hills National Landscape team to learn about Dormouse Ecology and get involved in some practical dormouse conservation.
This is a free training course, there will be an opportunity to sign up for further volunteering opportunities, but this is entirely optional.
Morning of talks from:
Jem Gibson – QLPS Wildlife Officer.
Keith Edwards – Dormouse Monitoring Scheme License Holder.
Andy Stevenson – National Landscape Ranger and Dormouse Monitoring Scheme Participant.
Lunch break – Please bring packed lunch, hot drinks and light refreshments will be provided. (If you have any dietary needs, please add this as a note on your booking)
Afternoon activity at Broomfield Common Community Woodland installing footprint tunnels.
