Night Walk 07.03.23

Published by Jon Barrett on

Join us for this full moon walk from Crowcombe Park Gate on the Quantock Hills, for an experiential 2 mile walk without torches.

Bill Jenman, Quantock Landscape Partnership Scheme, will be guiding this night-time walk across the Quantock hills from Crowcombe Park Gate car park along The Drove to Great Cairn. Walking in the moonlight is an entirely different experience to walking in daytime, so turn up all your senses on a very special experience.

The walk is just over 2 miles (3 km) across varied terrain – note that we will be walking in the dark, without torches, so please do not come unless you’re comfortable with this. Suitable footwear with ankle support is recommended. Not suitable for younger children and sorry, but no dogs on this one.

In the event of bad weather we’ll postpone , walking in the rain the in the dark is no fun at all!

Meet at 7pm at Crowcombe Park Gate car park, above Crowcombe Village on the Crowcombe to Stowey road. what3words ///covers.last.utter

7 – 9 pm on 7 March

Full information will be sent on booking.
