We’re recruiting for a part time Community Engagement officer to join us for the final 18 months of the Quantock Landscape Partnership Scheme. Our engagement activities have been a real success story, and as part of our Mid Term Evaluation, it was suggested we expand those activities throughout what is left of the project. This role will be working alongside our engagement team and the wider Quantock Hills team to deliver a wide range of events and activities across the Quantock Hills and within the communities that surround us.

We’re looking for someone who will be able to;

  • Develop and run a wide range of activities for local communities and groups ensuring that activities are as inclusive as possible
  • Provide advice and information to organisations and volunteers through face to face, telephone, social media and email contact.
  • Work closely with Quantock Landscape Partnership Scheme and AONB colleagues developing, co-ordinating and implementing extensive engagement work.

If you are interested in applying, you can find out more information and apply on the link to the Somerset Council Jobs page here.
